Jeremiah 19:3-5
“You shall say, ‘Hear the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing such disaster upon this place that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle. Because the people have forsaken Me and have profaned this place by making offerings in it to other gods whom neither they nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah have known; and because they have filled this place with the blood of innocents, and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or decree, nor did it come into My mind—”
MURDER
Make no mistake. There is a judgment coming to many, many local congregations in the United States of America. They will be seized and taken captive by a government that stands far from the truth of the Bible, just as Judah was conquered and Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon. Jerusalem, the city upon which YHVH God placed His name, had run rampant with child sacrifice; and Yehovah of sabaoth, that is, the LORD of hosts, was angry over the blood of innocents sacrificed to Baal in the high places. The justification of a little bit of murder among God’s people is not okay. The justification of sin in Christ’s church, among those who profess the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, is not acceptable. This is how far gone we have run in our thinking and in our hearts. The high places of Baal in the USA have become the Supreme Court Decision of Roe v. Wade in 1973. And while the Roe v. Wade decision was overturned by Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in June 2002, abortion is far from being abolished for what it is, the willful murder of the unborn. Regardless of what the world does, and regardless of what unbelievers do in the USA, in our hearts, by faith in Christ, we must stand against the sin of murder. Death is the final enemy that shall be put down at Christ’s return, and we are the people of life because we serve the Creator and Redeemer who is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. Life begins with God, the Creator and Originator of all life, not at the heartbeat, nor in the breath of a child at birth. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

For life for You are Life;

May we, by grace, be lights.
